NEW Wellness Benefit
$900 Wellness Benefit Per Family Beginning January 1, 2026, members of the Local 1014 Health Plan can receive up to $900 per year in reimbursement for eligible wellness expenses. No expenses incurred prior to January 1, 2026—and no receipts submitted prior to that date—will be eligible for reimbursement. This benefit is attached to the member and may be used for eligible expenses incurred by the member, their covered spouse, and eligible dependents. Who can use the $900 Wellness Benefit? The $900 Wellness Benefit is per family. Reimbursements may be used for eligible expenses incurred by the member, their covered spouse, and eligible dependents. How much can I be reimbursed each year? Families may be reimbursed up to $900 per calendar year. Once the $900 annual maximum is reached, no additional reimbursements will be issued for that year. Do unused funds roll over to the next year? No. Any unused portion of the $900 Wellness Benefit does not carry over to the next plan year. What types of expenses are eligible? Eligible expenses follow IRS/FSA eligibility standards and may include items such as fitness equipment, smoking cessation programs, first aid supplies, and over-the-counter medications.
